SAY IT WITH FLOWERS

Craig and I love to garden and we especially fond of roses like these landscaping roses ... as delicate as apple blossoms!

We also love the crepe-like texture of this double geranium ---

And the simple clarity of this single red geranium.

Yet, nature produces some magnificent but tiny flowers a la naturelle. I think this is a cluster of tansy blossoms.

And this looks like some form of vetch to me. Do you know what it is?

And what could shout "Summer" more clearly than a stand of teasel among the blackberries?

Just the sight of these lovelies - man-engendered and natural - take me back to a time of intense curiosity, standing in the warm sun, gazing in delight at the textures and color, seeing the glory in simple things.
