We happened to come across a herd of elk who acted as is we weren't even there. Here are a few of them. I'm guessing this is a male.
And here is another. The antlers aren't so symetrical.
And perhaps a female?
This guy looks noble.
The internet suggests that the elk are similar in behavior to white tailed deer. These guys certainly didn't move away from us like the deer do.
