COVID-19 had not changed the fact that it is spring and in spring, a young drake's fancy -- and all that! This young lady seems to be signalling that she would like this guy's fancy to turn to her!
Sure enough, the two sail off into the sunset.
And fall a bit short. But how is that for synchronized landing?
Unfortunately, the course of true love never did run smooth. Another drake interrupts our couple in mid-canoodle, and she takes flight.
Yet another drake bursts out of the undergrowth ---
And lands not far from the dejected suitor.
He heaves to, bent on consoling his buddy...
Who whispers in his ear, "I have a hot date with her later."
