We've driven by this park dozens of times but never stopped to take a closer look. Until now.
It was a hot day. As we crossed a footbridge into the park, we were stunned by the cool verdure along Crystal Springs Creek.

Stepping out of the cool, we esperience impressive symmetry:

The bathing beauties were out in full force.

But very few people. Those we did see were colorful. This person was obviously feeding the wildlife -- right next to a sign that said, "Please don't feed the wildlife."! Good thing duck, geese, and pigeons can't read.

As a photographer, I found his actions forgivable because he was just helping his friend --

The park also had some lovely vegetation:
Such beauty and so close deserves appreciation. Westmoreland Park, we salute you!
