SUNSET AT THE LONE FIR

As the sun set we caught this moment between day and night, light and dark, life and death.

There were the first grey moments of sunset

Followed by the dark blue of the departing light

Until the light faded all to silhouettes and only the Christmas lights across the way prevailed over the darkness.
