And If You Like REALLY Old Buildings --

Some of the oldest buildings in North America are in Quebec City. This area even has a moat!

And these are the buildings that the moat protects - more by smell than a physical barrier I think!

Can you imagine the maintenance on this old place in Montreal?

And this juxtaposition in Montreal pleased my eye as did these stone buildings ---

While this home in a village north of Quebec City certainly caught our eyes.

This might be a rectory - it in on the church grounds at Pierre-fonds, Quebec. I love the tower cap.

This is the church, which dates back to 1844, that replaced one from the mid 1700's.

Some details.

Since we won't be traveling for a while, let's enjoy the old stuff we have. Including each other!
