We visited the wetlands, such as they are now. And some of our old friends have returned.
After not seeing a Great Blue Heron in months, I caught this guy as he lifted off.
And headed south --
Great wings rowing him further --
Until he reached the tree line --
And disappeared.
But surely not forever?
