POETRY IN MOTION

Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge never fails to entertain! Last week the Harrier Hawks put on quite the exhibition.

This one really objected to being photographed. I caught this snap, then she took off, plunked down in a distant field, and sat.

And sat. And sat. So we sat, too. Until ---

She was pretty darned gorgeous as she rose, wings catching the wind.

But I think she was still a might irate.
